Oskar Norelius

CEO & Partner, Award-Winning Architect, White Arkitekter

Oskar Norelius is an award-winning architect and Partner at White Arkitekter, one of Scandinavia’s leading architecture practices. In May 2026, he assumes the role of CEO, stepping into leadership at a time when the built environment faces unprecedented climate and resource challenges.

Norelius is internationally recognized for pioneering large-scale timber architecture and low-carbon design. He co-led the acclaimed Sara Culture Centre in Skellefteå – a 20-storey climate-positive mass timber building that received the International Award for Wood Architecture and was named Best Culture Building at the World Architecture Festival. He has also played a leading role in the development of Stockholm Wood City, one of the world’s largest urban timber projects.

Named among Europe’s 40 Under 40 in Architecture and Design (2025), Norelius represents a new generation of design leadership – where architecture is not only about form, but about long-term value, sustainability and strategic transformation.
